Infused Water Ideas

As it the weather has become a lot sunnier lately, I have decided to start having my array of infused waters again because if I'm going to keep hydrated, I'd rather do it by drinking flavored water than plain water any day.
So in this post I am going to give you 4 ideas that I have previously tried and loved.

These first three ideas are ones that I found on Pinterest, which I would definitely look on if you want more inspiration for different flavors you can try other than the four I tell you about here

1) Lemon, Pink Grapefruit and Strawberries
So this is actually the first flavor I tried when I started trying these infused waters and I loved this combination but I have to admit that this flavor kind of ended up lemon and grapefruit as I may or may not have eaten most of the strawberries...

2) Orange and Blueberry
Don't knock it till you try it. I saw this combination on Pinterest and thought that it didn't look very good but if it was terrible I would just eat all the fruit... again, but this has actually become one of my favourite combinations for my infused water, as these two fruits actually work really well together.

3) Raspberry and Mint
This is my favourite flavor for my infused water and once again, don't knock it till you've tried it. I find this one a really refreshing drink to have on a hot summers day after being left in the fridge for a few hours to become rich in flavor and I don't think that the mint is at all overpowering, as you may think of it as being.

4) Frozen Summer Fruit Mix and Lemon
This is a flavor that i came up with myself this spring, as I thought that it would be worth a shot and it has turned out to be a success. I use the frozen summer fruit mix from Morrisons that consists of strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, blackberries and redcurrants. This combination is perfect for a hot day when you want to have one of these drinks, without having to wait hours for the water to become flavored because the water cools down with the fruit being frozen and as the fruit begins to thaw, it releases it's juices as well.

These were my four infused water ideas and I hope these help you to find a more interesting way to keep hydrated during the day xx

P.S. A tip for those of you who may want to drink infused water on the go, there are water bottles available with a little section inside where you can put your cut fruit into it and it will allow you to take the bottle out and about and you can re-fill it until the fruit loses flavor and are usually available for about £3 x
